The baby is home. Now what? This online training is a unique opportunity to get the basics about Montessori's educational method as it applies to the infant from birth to age three. The first three years of a child’s life are a unique time in a person’s life. It is broad enough to cover general parenting "best practices" and specific enough to be a foundation for those interested in incorporating the Montessori philosophy into their home life.

During the first stage of development, the child begins to move voluntarily and is constructing his psyche. Patterns are established from birth to age three that will last a lifetime. Knowledge and love help us to relate better to our child during all stages of human development. Join us to learn more about what makes this period so important for you and your child and to gain knowledge about how to help create a prepared environment at home.

The classes will cover the following topics:

“This is education, understood as a help to life; an education from birth, which feeds a peaceful revolution and unites all in a common aim, attracting them as to a single centre. Mothers, fathers, politicians: all must combine in their respect and help for this delicate work of formation, which the little child carries on in the depth of a profound psychological mystery, under the tutelage of an inner guide. This is the bright new hope for mankind.” (The Absorbent Mind, p. 15).
