Heather Lataille ("la-tie")
I am an AMI-trained Assistant to Infancy, which is the teaching credential to be an educator of children from birth to three. I am a Roman Catholic mother of two boys and wife of an amazing husband. I have previously worked in international relations and received my graduate degree from Tufts and my undergraduate degree from Clark University. I grew up outside Philadelphia, PA.
My role is to facilitate the maximum potential of the child. I provide an enriched environment that allows the child to teach him- or herself about the world. I am a devoted student of Montessori principles. Her discoveries of the child's need for independence, the role of observation and the importance of following the child are integral to my approach. Further, having a friendly attitude towards error is essential to providing a secure foundation for a child's development.
